Is IndoWaris free?
Yes. All features — family tree, calculation and SVG/PNG/PDF/PPTX downloads — are currently free. If paid services are introduced, prices will be shown clearly before payment.
Which legal basis is used?
Indonesia's Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) as applied by the Religious Courts, including substitute heirs (Art. 185).
Are the results legally binding?
Results are simulations. A binding determination of heirs is issued by the Religious Court or an authorised official. The chart and PPTX can serve as supporting material.
What if an heir died after the deceased?
Enter their date of death. The system automatically passes their share to their own heirs (successive deaths / munasakhah).
What if a child died before the deceased?
Their children become substitute heirs under KHI Art. 185, and IndoWaris calculates this automatically.
Is my family data safe?
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), accessible only to the case owner, never sold, and you can delete it at any time.
Which formats can I download?
The family chart as SVG, PNG and PDF, plus a PowerPoint (PPTX) deck with the chart, heirs list, stage breakdown and notes.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, the IndoWaris app for Android and iOS uses the same account, so your data stays in sync.
What is IndoWarisVA?
IndoWarisVA is the AI virtual assistant in IndoWaris. It greets you, answers questions about inheritance and using the app, and guides you step by step based on your case.
Can the AI read a Family Card, ID card or death certificate?
Yes. Upload a PDF or photo in the AI Documents tab; the AI prepares family members for you to review before saving. We do not keep the original file.
